Lorna Renee Leverton-Howell

Lorna Reneé Leverton-Howell, 46, of Covert died Friday, July 13 at home.

She was born June 17, 1961 in Portsmouth, Ohio to John and June (Smith) Oliver. Lorna graduated from Covert High School in 1979. Lorna married Ervin Howell on August 26, 1995 in South Haven. She worked at Scott Aviation for 8 years thru 1994. Lorna loved the outdoors. She enjoyed gardening, working in the yard and fishing. Lorna liked riding the motorcycle with her husband Ervin. For several years they attended the Blessing of the Bikes in Baldwin, Michigan. She also loved being around her grandchildren. Lorna loved life.

She is preceded in death by her mother who died in 1996 and her daughter – Alexis Leverton who died in 1984.

She is survived by her husband – Ervin Howell of South Haven. Two sons – Travis (Heidi) Oliver of Holland, Michigan and Sean Leverton of Bloomington, Indiana. Her father – John Oliver of South Haven. Two grandchildren who were the love of her life – Tyson and Madisyn Oliver. Four step-children who she treated as her own – Brenda Howell of Phoenix, Arizona, Christina Howell of Elmirage, Arizona, Christopher (Becki) Howell of Bangor, Michigan, Charles (Trish) Howell of South Haven. 7 step-grandchildren. Two brothers – Johnny (Sherry) Oliver and Pat (Debbie) Oliver both of South Haven. One sister – Vicky (Leonard) Dean of Little Rock, Mississippi.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 18 from 6 – 8 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Pastor Tom Langston officiating.
