Jimmy Don Decker Sr., 64 of South Haven passed away on August 10, 2007 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Jimmy was born on July 9, 1943 in Leachville, Arkansas to Cordis and Fanny (Baker) Decker. Jimmy worked as a forklift driver for Michigan Fruit Canners and Campbell Soup Factory. Jimmy loved to fish and tinker on cars.
He is preceded in death by parents and his son: Fred Hauri, one daughter: Frances Klock. Two sisters: Mary Ruth Reeves and Ruby Harrell and two brothers Jerry and Riley.
Jimmy is survived by his wife: Ann Hauri (Stroebel), his children: Leann (Rob) Eisner of Lacota, Michigan, Jody (Buddy) Levora of Bangor, Michigan, Verna James of South Haven, Michigan, Jimmy Decker Jr. of South Haven, Michigan and Cordis (Tracy) Decker of Pullman, Michigan. Jimmy Junior Decker of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and Carolyn Simpson of Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Sixteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Two brothers: Gene (Helen) Decker of South Haven, Robin Decker of Manilla, Arkansas, three sisters: Lovie (Don) Woldring of Holland, Michigan, Sue Lester of Manilla, Arkansas and Brenda (George) Bratton of Atkins, Arkansas.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 16, 2007 from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Funeral will be Friday, August 17 at 11:00 A.M. with the Pastor Michael Holt officiating.
