Pete's Obituary
Pete Mitchell, 19, of South Haven, Michigan died at home on January 17, 2009. Pete was born on July 9, 1989 to Bruce and Angel (Distefano) Mitchell. While in high school Pete played four years of varsity soccer and also won awards for woodworking. He was currently a student at Lake Michigan College. Pete loved music and playing the guitar, going to concerts and hanging out with friends.
Pete is survived by his parents – Bruce and Angel Mitchell and one brother – Jake Mitchell all of South Haven, Michigan. Paternal Grandparents – George and Karen Mitchell of South Haven, Michigan and Maternal Grandparents – Angelo and Patricia Distefano of Bangor, Michigan.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 20 from 5-8 pm with a time for sharing with friends at 7:30 pm at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Funeral will be on Wednesday, January 21 at 11:00 am at St. Basil Catholic Church with Rev Fr. Donald Potts officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the South Haven Ram Boosters.
