Darlene Ann's Obituary
Darlene Ann Scott, 62, of South Haven died Saturday, April 11 at Countryside Nursing and Rehabilitation Community in South Haven.
She was born April 16, 1946 in South Haven, Michigan to Daniel K and Mildred A. (Brigham) Mayhak. Darlene married Donald Scott on August 12, 1961 in Bloomingdale, Michigan. Darlene worked as a machine operator in South Haven for many years for Bohn Aluminum, South Haven Coil and Noble retiring in 2007. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and friends. Her favorite places to visit was Las Vegas and the Smokey Mountains.
She is preceded in death along with her parents by her husband – Donald Scott who died in 1995. Sister – Sandra Adams and brother – William Mayhak also precedes her.
She is survived by her daughter – Kim (Dale) Smothers of South Haven, Michigan. Three granddaughters – Linda (Brian) Caywood Johnson of Coloma, Michigan, Toni (Justin Larion) Caywood and Brandy (C.J.) Caywood Clouse both of Grand Junction, Michigan. Two great grandchildren – Garrett Johnson and Jacob Clouse. One brother – George (Judy) Mayhak of Rockford, Michigan also survives.
Visitation will be Saturday, April 18 from 12:30 – 1:00 at the First Baptist Church of South Haven. Memorial services will begin Saturday at 1:00 P.M. at the church with Pastor Jerry Koller officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to The Organic Acidemia Association.
