Ivory Shaver III

Ivory Lee Shaver III of Covert, Michigan was born November 7, 1985 to Sherrell Lewis and Ivory Lee Shaver, Sr. in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Ivory attended Covert Public Schools where he graduated from the high school in 2005. He participated in such activities like basketball, football, track, JROTC, and baseball.
Ivory had many jobs in his history such as being a certified lifeguard for Covert Public Schools and he also did construction work.
Ivory will always be loved and missed by many. He will also be in our hearts forever. We will miss his smile, his personality, his wonderful charm, and his comical and loving ways.
Ivory will always be to all who knew him as “Unie”.
Ivory leaves behind a wife - Jovonn Shaver, a daughter -Toriana Shaver, two step daughters- Deasia and Maya McWilliams of Pine Bluff, Arkansas. A loving mother – Sherrell (Nelson) Madry, Jr. of Covert, Michigan. His father – Ivory Lee Shaver, Sr. of South Haven, Michigan. Mother and father in-law – Latonia (Frank) Woodson. Seven brothers – Antonio Lewis, Aaron (Tyra) Lewis, Travis Shaver, Jerry (Hillary) Mahone, Jerome (Andrea) Mahone, Jermaine (Wynell) Mahone, Georgio (Bessy) Lewis. One sister – Naomi Shaver. Two sister-in-laws – Nikkita Brown and Amari McWilliams. A God sister – Yendori Lewis. His second mom – Bernina Moses. And a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.

To a loving husband, father, and son. You will always be missed and loved more than words can explain. We will remember the most loving father we know. No one knows the silent heart aches. Only those who have lost can tell of the grief that is born in silence for a husband, father, and son that we loved so well
