Jamie L. Juergensen-Mastandrea, 62, of Sister Lakes, MI passed away after three short weeks on Friday, March 15, 2019 at Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville following an unforeseen diagnosis of lung cancer.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 5:00 PM, Monday, March 18, 2019 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel & Cremation Services, 2650 Niles Rd. St. Joseph. Friends may visit from 2 PM until the time of service Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lory’s Place. Jamie was born on November 20, 1956 in St. Joseph, MI to Charles “Pat” & Edna (Conyers) Juergensen Jr. She was a graduate of Eau Claire High School class of 1975 and in 1974 was crowned Miss Eau Claire. Jamie went on to receive her associate’s degree at Lake Michigan College. She touched many people through her work as a patient financial advocate for Lakeland Health. In her spare time she enjoyed being with her Bible Study Group, and being involved with Lory’s Place. Jamie loved spending time with John by the lake and being near the water. She cherished the time she spent at the cabin with her forever high school girlfriends. She will always be remembered for her love and compassion towards others and always saying “Love you bunches and bunches.”
Jamie is survived by her daughter Brittney (Joshua) Spivey; granddaughter Chloe Ann Spivey; father Charles “Pat” Juergensen Jr.; siblings Jeffery “Bo” (Vicky) Juergensen, Michele (James) Brock; nieces and nephews, Jennifer (Pete) Tirrell, Jarrett Jurgensen, Carter Strebeck, Cooper Strebeck and Brock Strebeck and great- niece and nephew Owen & Piper Tirrell and her loving significant other Ferris “John” Pearson Jr.
She was preceded in death by her mother Edna Juergensen in 1987.
