Joyce Wagner

Joyce Wagner, 77, of Shoreham, MI, left this life for her eternal home with Jesus her Lord and Savior on Monday, February 18, 2019 at Spectrum Health Lakeland in St. Joseph. Joyce was a precious wife and mother. She truly dedicated her whole life to serving her family and her Lord. Joyce treasured her husband Jerry and worked alongside him supporting him as he built his businesses and believed in his dreams. She exemplified a God given gift of hospitality hosting her family and all who came across her door. She had a special talent for making everyone feel welcome and making every event something special. Joyce showered a life time of loving support and encouragement upon her daughter and son in law, Tonya and Tom. She was also the ultimate Grandma to Micah, ever developing interests in the things he had interest in and knowing just how to bless him. Joyce was also a tireless caregiver to her mother. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 A.M., Friday, February 22, 2019 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel and Cremation Service, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph with Pastor Len Pera & Pastor Tom Hough officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery in St. Joseph. Friends may visit from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Thursday, February 21, 2019 at the funeral home. She graduated from Benton Harbor High School in 1960. On June 16, 1962 she married Jerry Wagner in Benton Harbor. Joyce is survived by her husband Jerry Wagner; daughter Tonya (Tom) Hough; grandson Micah Hough; and sister Janet (Richard) Levay. As well as many treasured nieces and nephews. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents.
