Sondra Weaver

Sondra Doreen (Weaver) Lovell died the week of June 13, 2010 in her home in Roanoke, VA as the result of a homicide. Sondra was born in Buchanan, MI on April 29, 1933 to Edith Lucille and Doyle Weaver and lived in the Buchanan area until the late 1960's.She was an accountant for Clark Equipment Co. while in Buchanan. Following her move to Virginia, she became a teacher, retiring from teaching in the Roanoke school system. Following retirement she worked training the handicapped for Goodwill Industries in Roanoke. Sondra Doreen is survived by a step-brother, Samuel Baich of Rolling Prairie, IN; sisters-in-law, Nancy Baich, Mary Ann Baich and Delores Weaver and a number of nieces and nephews.Preceding her in death was her beloved first husband, David Dunn; her brother, Duane Weaver; half brothers, Steffen Baich and Terry Baich; step sister, Bernice Holy; step brother Harold Baich; as well as four nephews and a niece. Her only child, Jon David Dunn, died as a result of the incident that took her life.Memorial services have not yet been planned. Swem Funeral Chapel of Buchanan has assisted the family locally.
