Michael Lee Hankins

Michael Lee Hankins Sr., 55, of Decatur, MI, passed away Friday, April 4, 2014 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo, MI.  A gathering of family and friends will take place on Wednesday, April 9, 2014, from 10:00am until time of the funeral service at Noon, at Clark Chapel and Cremation Services, 405 Center St., Dowagiac, MI.  Michael will be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery, Dowagiac, MI.  Michael was born on August 15, 1958 to Sadie Hankins in Paw Paw, MI.  He was a member of the Decatur Lions Club.  He enjoyed NASCAR, fishing and being around his grandkids.  He is survived by his children, Michael Lee Jr. of Elkhart, IN, Timothy (Pamela)  of Decatur, MI, Roy of Decatur, MI, Earl of OK, Colley of Decatur, MI, Christina of Bangor, MI, and Connie of Decatur, MI; and 15 grandkids.  He is preceded in death by his mother Sadie and his grandparents Roy and Ruth Hankins.  Contributions may be made to Mike Franklin for the family.  Please take the opportunity to sign his guestbook and share a memory of Michael at www.clarkch.com.
