Donna Sue Chappel

Donna's life began on June 22, 1949 in Paw Paw, MI, the daughter of Jessie B. and Mildred M. (Jackson) Pierce. She was united in marriage to John A. Chappel on October 3, 1965 in Hartford, MI. Her loving family includes her husband John Chappel of Dowagiac, her children John West of Dowagiac, David W. Smith of Dowagiac, Lisa A. Smith of Michigan, Richa Kay Kumrow of Dowagiac, grandchildren Jordan West, Morgan West, Tyler Lee, Logan Hosler, Alice, Brandon, Crystal and David Smith, and Mikie McGee, sisters Judy Beebe, Linda Abrams, Carol Pierce, and Theresa Clary. Donna passed away on Saturday December 25, 2010 at Tendercare of Kalamazoo. She is preceded in death by her parents, a sister Cindy Mann and a brother Mike Pierce. Her family will gather with friends on Tuesday from 12-2 p.m. at Yazel & Clark Chapel where her funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. She will be laid to rest in South Wayne Cemetery.
