Mary's Obituary
May’s life began on May 5, 1928 in Evanston, IL, the daughter of George and Elsie (McClintock) Ludwig. She was united in marriage to Edward G. Hunsberger on December 1, 1946 in Dowagiac. May was employed by Old Kent Bank for many years as a customer service representative. She was a member of the Dowagiac Women of the Moose Lodge. Her loving family includes her daughter Jacquelyn Groth of Dowagiac, daughter in law Gail ( Lee ) West of Dowagiac, six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, brothers Lester and Robert Ludwig, both of Colorado, sister Margaret Underwood of California, and sister in law Joan Garrett of Dowagiac, and several nieces and nephews. May passed away on Friday July 6, 2012 at Cass County Medical Care Center. She is preceded in death by her husband Edward in 2001, son Bradley E. Hunsberger in 1984, sisters Marion Brehm and Mildred Dobner. Burial will take place on Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Riverside Cemetery, Dowagiac.
