Paul Ruff

May 27, 1930 – January 12, 2014 DOWAGIAC – Paul Ruff, 83, passed away on January 12, 2014. Paul was born to Gottleib and Wilhelmina (Schopinski) Ruff on May 27th, 1930 in Dowagiac, Michigan. Paul is survived by his children, daughter Carol (Rick) Primley, sons Carl (Lori), Mike (Julie), Rick (Cathy)and Tim (Jessica), all of Dowagiac; 14 grandchildren Christopher, Emily, Kelsie, Marcus, Meagan, Madeline, Hannah, Calley, Nate, Mackenzie, Zoe, Micaela, Piper and Thomas. He is also survived by his 2 sisters Elsie Kingsley and Loretta Richardson, both of Dowagiac. Paul was a farmer who loved the outdoors. When he wasn’t farming he spent his time hunting and fishing, occasionally taking one of his grandchildren with him. When he wasn’t outdoors he enjoyed watching football especially Notre Dame. Paul was an Army veteran serving during the Korean War. The family will gather with friends on Thursday, January 16, 2014 from 5-8, with a Celebration Of Life service to be held on Friday 11:00 AM at Clark Chapel & Cremation Services in Dowagiac, burial to follow at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens in Niles.
