Mary Poehlman

Mary B. Poehlman was born on November 19, 1926 in Elkhart, IN, the daughter of Rosario and Sanita Iannarelli. She passed on February, 5, 2014. Mary was preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband Robert Poehlman (1986), and her 5 brothers and 3 sisters, and her grandson Nicholas (1998). She is survived by her children, R. Lee of Los Angeles, CA; Kirk of Dallas, TX; Mark (Terry) of Schoolcraft, MI; Michael of Miami, FL; Kerry of Dowagiac and daughter Lori of Niles, MI; 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Mary served as President of the Purchasing Management Association of South Bend. Mary loved spending time with her family, playing bridge with her friends, crossword puzzles, traveling and especially Notre Dame football. A private service will be held by the family. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the American Cancer Society in her name.
