Walter's Obituary
Walter J. Gorham, 86, of Dowagiac passed away in the comfort of his home on March 24, 2014. Walt was born September 15, 1927 to Winifred and Walter E. Gorham of Dowagiac. He was an Army Veteran. He married Marguerite Baldwin on November 1, 1950. He was preceded in death by a sister Barbara, a brother Richard, and a daughter Karla Gorham. He is survived by his wife Marguerite, a sister Frances Simpson, two sons Barry Gorham and Ward Gorham, three daughters Sandra Smith, Yvonne Kolher and Melanie Rice. Also four grandchildren, Rhonda Byrd, Tyler Kolher, Cole and Clay Rice as well as two great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 11:ooam at Clark Chapel, 405 Center St., Dowagiac, MI. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
