LaDema Gould

LaDema Gould, age 94, passed away, April 21, 2014, in Mishawaka, IN.  LaDema was born on September 27, 1919, in Dowagiac, MI, to the late John and Victoria Stelmasiak.  On September 16, 1939, she married Joseph Gould (deceased), at Holy Maternity Church in Dowagiac.  She is survived by her granddaughters Lori Schur of Mishawaka, IN and Julie (Kerry) Smith of Osceola, IN.  Also surviving is a son-in-law, Lenard Schur of Niles, MI.  A daughter, Joyce Schur is deceased.  LaDema and Joe owned Gould’s Department store in Cassopolis and enjoyed dinners with their friends and evenings full of dancing.  A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, April 25, 2014 from 10:00am until the Funeral Mass at 11:00am at Holy Maternity of Mary Catholic Church, Dowagiac, MI.  Following the mass there will be a luncheon at Holy Maternity Hall.  Memorials may be made to St. Ann Catholic Church where she was a long time parishioner.  Arrangements where entrusted to Clark Chapel, Dowagiac, MI.  Please take the opportunity to leave a memory or a condolence in her name at www.clarkch.com.
