Neva May Husted

Macomb, MI – Neva M. Husted (nee Burdick), age 94, formerly of Stevensville, entered the Church Triumphant on Friday, August 1, 2008, in Macomb, MI. Neva as the beloved wife of the late Kenneth Steenbergh, Sr. (who died in 1942) and by the late Homer Husted (who died in 1992). She was the dear mother of the late Kenneth Jr. (Pat) and Barbara Knuth of Macomb, MI. Neva was the proud grandmother of Bruce Steenbergh (Marian), Craig Steenbergh (Cathy Hart) and Karen FitzHenry (Patrick). She was the loving great-grandmother of Andrew, John, Matthew, Molly, and Zoe. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M., Monday, August 4, 2008, at the Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Road, in St. Joseph immediately followed at 11:00 by the funeral service with Rev. Gordy Barry officiating. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Stevensville United Methodist Church.
