Thomas W. Neuman

Thomas W. Neuman, 51 of Reed City, MI, formerly of Benton Harbor, died at this home, February 8, 2009. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 13, 2009 at 1:00P.M. at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. The viewing will be held on Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00P.M. at the funeral home. His wishes are to be cremated. Memorial donations may be made to the donor’s choice. He is survived by his parents, two daughters, Amanda Neuman and Meghan Watt and one son, Thomas R. Neuman. Also surviving are three sisters, Susan (Jim) Stormont; Kathleen (Mike) Bailey; and Cynthia Stiles; one brother, Robert (Sherry) Neuman and two aunts, Hazel Watkins and Elaine Leitz. Thom is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. He is preceded in death by his son, Kristopher. When he was in good health, he worked in high rise steel construction. He enjoyed fishing and his motorcycle, and dearly loved his cat and friend “Link”. He also enjoyed growing his hair long so that it could be cut and donated to “Locks of Love” to help cancer patients.
