Harriett Lee Mason

Harriett Lee Mason, loving wife and mother passed peacefully at home with family on August 27, 2010. She was born the 8th of 14 children to the union of the late Harvey and Clister Robinson in Charleston, MO on June 14, 1928. United in marriage in 1965 to Richard C. Mason. A tirelessly giving Christian and member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church for over 40 years. She retired from Heath Co. as a skilled laborer. Preceded in death by brothers; Frank, Chesterfield, Willie Ray and Thomas Robinson; sisters Erma Neason, Selma Farmer and Zenobia Lott; grandson Karim Napier. Left to cherish her memories are her husband and 12 children: Dianne Thrash, Jarrett (Susan) Walker, Reginald (Deborah) Walker, Harriett (Ronald) Patterson, Richard B. Walker, Yolanda (Jimmie) Wilder, Thaddeus Walker, Phillip Walker, Tina (Mickey) Rogers, Michelle (Henry) Williams, Gloria (Darrell) Creamer, and Richard (June) Mason; 22 Grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild; sisters Mozella Williams, Hazel Clark, Rosetta (James) Tounsel, Alfredia (Isaac) Parker, Betty (William) Butler; brother Harvey Robinson; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and very special friends Rose Hubert and Annette Fultz. A celebration of life eternal will be held Friday, September 3, 2010, 1:00 p.m. at Second Baptist Church, 600 Donald Adkins Dr., with Rev. Lee A. Taylor officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service at 12:00 p.m. Interment to follow at North Shore Memory Garden.
