Martha Sanders

Martha Sanders, 83, of St. Joseph, passed away peacefully January 23, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. A Memorial will be held at a later date in Washington State. Martha was born January 13, 1930, in Tennessee to William “Kemp” & Mary (Litchford) Kimbro. On February 13, 1949, she married Jay C. Sanders in Coloma, MI. Martha was a house wife and a proud mother of 13 children. She enjoyed cooking, changing diapers, and spending time with her family. She will be remembered by her family as a loving and devoted mother. Martha is survived by her 13 children, Jim (Linda) Sanders, of Spokane, WA; Jan (Jim) Leach, of St. Joseph, MI; John(Nancy) Sanders of Ephrata, WA; Joyce Turner, of St. Joseph MI; Jay (Rosie) Sanders, of Berlin, Germany; Judy (Doug) Wall, of Electric City, WA; Jeff Sanders, of Miles City, MT; Joe (Selma) Sanders, of Electric City, WA; Janie (Keith) Smith-Brigg, of Spokane, WA; Jerry Sanders, of Grand Coulee, WA; Jeanie (Gary) French, of Electric City, WA; Jack (Crystal) Sanders, of Provo, UT, Jill (Lance) Huff of Spokane, WA, 31 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren, and her brother Tom Kimbro, of Hartford, MI. She is preceded in death by her husband Jay C. Sanders, and her parents.
