Evelyn Gast

Evelyn “Pinky” Gast, 87, of Bridgman, Michigan passed away on December 15, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, December 19, 2014 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 9650 N. Church, Bridgman, MI with Rev. Jon Bendewald officiating. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery in Bridgman. Friends may visit with the family beginning at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, December 19, 2014 at the church prior to the service. She graduated Bridgman High School in 1945 and received a Nursing Degree from Mercy Hospital in Benton Harbor in 1948. Evelyn married LeRoy Gast on January 31, 1953 in Bridgman. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. Evelyn is survived by her two sons: John (Cindy) Gast of Bridgman and Jeff (Patricia) Gast of Bridgman; six grandchildren: Amiee (Andrew) Clay, Kelly, Alex, Owen, Duncan, and Cooper Gast; four great-grandchildren: Ezra, Takiya, Eliza Grace, and Colt; and one nephew James (Mary) Gast. She is preceded in death by: her parents, husband Leroy Gast, sister Marion Gast, and brother Robert Williams
