Cynthia Ann Richardson

Cynthia Ann Richardson (Ginger) graced our lives for 81 years. She lived life on her terms and passed away at home in the loving presence of her husband, James, on Thursday, October 8, 2015. Ginger was born in Gaylord, MI, on August 9, 1934, to Catherine Brooks    Bresnahan and Virgil Justice.  She attended school in Lapeer and Roscommon, MI, graduating from Roscommon High School in 1952.  After receiving her teaching degree from Central Michigan University in 1954, she taught elementary school in Frederic and Coldwater. MI. Although they attended high school together, Ginger found the love of her life, James Richardson, upon his return from Korea in 1954.  They married on August 18, 1956 and from their loving partnership were blessed with seven children; Mike, Laurie, Mary, Kathy, Brian, Matt and Erin; 15 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Ginger loved gardening, volunteering for children’s and political causes and sharing her love of reading with her family.  She especially loved traveling with her husband most of all.  A private service and burial will take place at a later date.
