Kenneth Lomonaco, 59, of Sodus passed away on November 17, 2015 at Hanson Hospice Center, in Stevensville. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 10 AM at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, 555 E. Delaware Ave., Benton Harbor, with Father Michael Rejent officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, November 20, 2015 from 5 PM until 7 PM with prayers being offered at 7 PM, at Starks & Menchinger Chapel and Cremation Services, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Memorial contribution may be made to Hanson Hospice Center, American Heart Association, or National Kidney Foundation. Those wishing to leave an online condolence for Kenneth may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com. Kenneth was born on March, 20, 1956 in Benton Harbor to Joseph, Sr., and Rosalie (Costanza) Lomonaco. On August 2, 1975, Kenneth married the love of his life, Diane Gabriel and was happily married for over 40 years. Kenneth was the proud manager for many years at Lomonaco Grocery, a family owned grocery store formerly located in Benton Harbor. Kenneth enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching Notre Dame football. However, his primary passion in life was for his family, including his loving dog, Lexi. On most Sunday’s he could be found in the kitchen making his special spaghetti dinner for his large Italian family and every Christmas he would make Italian chocolate chip Christmas cookies. Kenneth is survived by his wife, Diane; children, Stacy (Jeremy) Blauser, of Stevensville, Kimberly (Daniel) Fancher, of Sodus, and Kenny (Molly) Lomonaco, of St. Joseph; grandchildren, Jacob Lignell, Landan Fancher, Amelia Blauser, Jackson Lomonaco, Braeden Blauser, Rosalie Fancher and Baby Boy Lomonaco due in April; siblings, Roseann (Bob) Hoven, Jerry Lomonaco, Anthony (Deb) Lomonaco, Mike (Liz) Lomonaco and Carol Lomonaco; and numerous nieces and nephews. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph, Sr., and Rosalie; and siblings, Joseph, Jr. and Frances Lomonaco.
