Bernice Kittleson

Bernice (Hicks) Kittleson, 87, of St. Joseph, passed away, Sunday, May 15, 2016 at her home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 A.M. on Friday, May 20, 2016 at the Church of Christ, 3550 Niles Rd., St. Joseph with Pastor Steve Pylkas officiating.  Memorial contributions may be made to Church of Christ. Bernice was born February 2, 1929 in Judsonia, Arkansas to Ulysses & Annie (Arnold) Hicks.  On June 2, 2005, she married Dean Kittleson at the Church of Christ in St. Joseph.  Bernice was a line inspector for VM – Voice of Music for many years. She loved her church and was a faithful member. Bernice is survived by her husband Dean; her daughter, Cindy (Dale) Haigler of St. Joseph, Michigan; her son Shelby (Beverly) Bridges of Cotati, California; grandsons, Steve (Beth) Bridges & Greg (Britney) Bridges; great grand-children, Hallie (Tim), Lauren, Kyle, Carson & Caroline Bridges; great great-grandson, Bennet Broderick; brothers, Olan & Lowell Hicks. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Ruby Barnett, Irene Barnett, Cleffie Burford, Vernell Leatherwood, Evalee Jones & Elven Hicks.
