Frances's Obituary
On October 21, 2017, Frances Louise (Webb) Bridgman left the pains of this earth to walk with her Lord in Heaven.
Frances was born on December 29, 1927 in Machias, Maine. She was a graduate of Watervliet High School. During her adult life, she called Benton Harbor, Coloma, and Hopkins Michigan, as well as Cambridge Vermont her home.
Frances married the love of her life, William “Bill” Bridgman on May 19, 1946. Together they had five children; Diane Orth of Cedar Springs, MI, Joyce Rudowske of Benton Harbor, Brenda (Bob) Zapolnik of Hopkins, MI, Jeanne (Bruce) Hutchins of Cambridge, VT and Pastor Bill (Cindy) Bridgman, Jr. of Benton Harbor. Beloved grandchildren are, Kari (Mark) Boverhof, Louis (Renee) Orth, Jennifer (Jerry) Powell, Richard (Maya) Rudowske, Christopher (Kristi) Rudowske, Kimberly (Dan) Longden, Rachel (Kalvin) Miller, Tony (Jennifer) Zapolnik, Katherine (Michael) Fewless, Michael Zapolnik, Nick (Nikki) Jabour, Michael (Alissa Giroux) Jabour, Jennifer (Greg) Smithers, Jonathan (Christine) Hutchins and Cheyenne Bridgman. She was proud of her 38 great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by siblings, Arlene Karr of New Mexico and Philip Webb of Michigan and special friend Joseph Jabour of Vermont. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bill; sons-in-law, Louis Orth and Richard Rudowske; two grandsons, Dale and Aaron Orth and two great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 AM on Monday, October 30, 2017 at Crystal Springs Church of God, 1465 Pipestone Rd., Benton Harbor, MI. A luncheon will follow. Private burial will take place at a later date in Coloma Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Caring Circle Hospice or Crystal Springs Church of God. The family wishes to thank Royalton Manor and Lakeland Hospice for their care of mom.
