Lisa's Obituary

Lisa M. Kill, 56, of Three Oaks, Michigan, passed away at her home on Wednesday, January 24, 2018.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held 12:00 PM, Tuesday at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Road, St. Joseph Michigan; visitation will be from 10:00 to 12:00 Tuesday. Friends wishing to leave a condolence may do so at the guest book at www.starks-menchinger.com.  Lisa was born on October 16, 1961 in L’Anse, Michigan to Mark & Carolyn (Hartsuff) Perrault. She was a proud member of the Keweenaw Bay Chippewa Tribe and her native American name was Ozaawaa Bineshii Quay- Yellowbird Woman. After high school she met her husband Doug Kill and attended Austin Modeling School. On September 15, 1984 they got married in Holt, Michigan. She worked for the Department of Agriculture for the State of Michigan for many years and then Family Independence Agency.  Lisa loved the outdoors and North Michigan where she was raised; she would go up to deer camp, swim in Lake Superior, fishing, smelting, skiing, go to Pow Wows, and being a Green Bay Packer Fan. Lisa also loved going to estate sales. Her biggest joy was taking care of and cooking for her family. She also loved her dog, Tag and her “granddogs”.  She is survived by her husband Doug; three sons Brian Kill of Buchanan, Kevin Kill of Three Oaks; Thomas (Cassandra) Kill of Fowlerville, MI.; her mother Carolyn Perrault; two brothers Kevin & Dan Perrault and two Sisters Kelli & Kori Perrault.
