June Willard, 96, of Benton Harbor, MI passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at Caretel Inns of Lakeland in St. Joseph.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00 P.M., with visitation beginning 1:00 P.M., Sunday, July 8, 2018 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph with Rev. Karen Joy Kelly officiating. A private burial will take place at Crystal Springs Cemetery in Benton Harbor. Memorials may be made to the Krasl Art Center or Caring Circle. June was born on May 17, 1922 in Benton Harbor, MI to Jay & Bessie (Lessing) Field. She graduated from Benton Harbor High School in 1940. June worked at Farmers and Merchants National Bank in Benton Harbor where she met her husband Richard Edgar Willard. June enjoyed being involved in the community as well as gardening, traveling, art and reading.
June is survived by her sons James Willard and Richard (Kristy) Willard Jr.; grandchildren Alex Willard and Jonathan (Erin) Willard; and great grandchildren Nathan and Sarah Willard. June was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
