Tim's Obituary
Timothy J. “Tim” Lucker, 82, of St. Joseph, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024.
A celebration of life gathering will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, from 12PM until 1PM at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Burial will take place at Hickory Bluff Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. Tim was born on August 4, 1941, to Alan & Katherine (Swikoski) Lucker in St. Joseph. He graduated from St. Joseph Catholic High School in 1959. On October 19, 1963, Tim married Sharon Schrubba at the St. Joseph Catholic Church. Prior to retirement, Tim worked as a delivery driver for Schultz Industrial Supply and Kendall Industrial Supply.
After retirement, as a self-proclaimed lazy person, Tim enjoyed a simple life of leisure. He loved to watch the wildlife in his back yard and go shooting at the Watervliet rod & gun club. His favorite time was spent with his family, especially with his daughters and grandchildren. Tim’s great sense of humor will be missed by all.
Tim is survived by his daughters, Elizabeth (Jeff) Crouse of Stevensville and Jennifer (Bryan) Fillwock of St. Joseph; grandchildren, Gage Lucker and Sidney Fillwock; one great-granddaughter on the way; and brothers Daniel (Pam) Lucker of St. Joseph and Jon (Lynn) Lucker of Decatur.
Tim was preceded in death by his wife Sharon Lucker; parents, Alan & Katherine Lucker; and brother Doug Lucker.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Starks & Menchinger Chapel & Cremation Services, 269-556-9450.
