Patricia K. Mrozek, 72, of New Buffalo, MI passed away at the Franciscan Health Center in Michigan City, IN on Saturday, January 20, 2024. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sommerfeld Chapel – 15 N. Barton St., New Buffalo, MI.
Pat was born on September 17, 1951 in Brighton, MI to the late William and Marian (Keihl) Allan.
On March 20, 1971 in Brighton, MI she married Anthony Mrozek. Tony survives and resides in New Buffalo, MI with their son Steven Mrozek. Their daughter Valerie passed away in 2002.
Pat loved to read, be outdoors, and was an avid animal lover. She was a librarian at the New Buffalo Township Library for many years. Pat was fond of her pet dogs and cat. But most of all she loved her family and friends and will be greatly missed.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, January 26, 12noon (EST) at St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church – 718 W. Buffalo St., New Buffalo, with Father Pat Kalich officiating. Burial follows at Pine Grove Cemetery in New Buffalo. Visitation with the family precedes the service from 10:30am-11:30am, at St. Mary’s Church. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary of the Lake Church or to the donor’s choice. Friends wishing to leave the family a message of condolence may do so at www.sommerfeldchapel.com
