Elsie's Obituary

Elsie Louise Corsaut, a daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and a resident of Madison Heights MI, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 with her loving children by her side.

The visitation hours will be from 10am until time of funeral service at 12pm, Friday, January 28, 2022 at Newell Chapel, 83313 M-51, Decatur MI. Following the service, a luncheon will be held at the Decatur VFW, 560 N Phelps St. Decatur MI. The burial will be held privately at Glen Eden Memorial Park, Livonia, MI. Elsie was born January 6, 1926, in Paw Paw, MI to Edna and Philo (Johnson) Myers. Elsie met and married Floyd W. Corsaut and became a devoted wife and mother to nine children. Her family was everything to her. Not only did she raise her children, she also helped raise neighbors and close friends' children. As her children got older, she enjoyed spending time shopping with her daughters and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Elsie is survived by her children, Linda Corsaut, daughter-in-law Brenda Corsaut, Sherrie (Doug) Worden, Sharon (Tom) Carson, Kathy (John) Brauner, Gary (Tina) Corsaut, and Cindy (Tim) Cerven; 21 grandchildren, Jennifer (Kory) Britten, Jason (Beverly) Simas, Chris Corsaut, Melissa (Ron) Tuljus, Matthew (Emily) Corsaut, Julie (Tony) Alber, David (Tonia) Worden, Amber (Chris) Brown, Sarah, Teresa, and Wayne Carson, Cindy Cavallaro, Shannon (Dave) Potsiadlo, Jay Brauner, Lena (Kyle) Nazarek, Eric Brauner, Gary and Emily Corsaut, T.J Cerven, Lexi (Austin) Gonser, Ben Cerven; 24 great grandchildren Bryce Britten, Brayton Simas, Jacie, Ruby, Gunner, Tillie Tuljus, Cade and Lucy Corsaut, Zaiden, Zurek and Enzleigh Alber, Abbishae, Alazeah and Azekiel Worden, Carson, Reagan, and Ronny Chapman, Tori and Bailey Carson-Selph, Sophia and Ella Cavallaro, Norah and Chloe Potsiadlo, Trevor and Trinity Brauner, Teightem Cerven, and her sister Betty Middaugh.

Elsie was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd W. Corsaut, her children; Jerry, David, and Michael Corsaut, her sisters; Chloe, Bernice, Lilah, and Emily, and her brothers; Leon, Archie, and Andrew Meyers.
