Ellen's Obituary
Ellen Delores Sips, life-long resident of New Buffalo, was born on March 9, 1942, and passed away peacefully on October 10,2021. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sommerfeld Chapel of 15 N. Barton St., New Buffalo, MI.
Ellen is survived by her twin brother Edward, twin sisters Grace Fradette and Gail Trusha, sister Carol Wold, niece Kathy Wold, nephew John Wold and numerous great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Lucy and Edward Sips, Sr., as well as nephews Jim Wold, Al Loring Jr., and Chuck Loring Sr.
Ellen was a member of St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church and the Altar and Rosary Society. She retired for the New Buffalo Area School System. Ellen enjoyed spending time outside working in her garden and yard. She will be remembered and missed by many.
A private family committal service was held at Pine Grove Cemetery in New Buffalo. Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Dunes Hospice and Trail Creek for their kindness and loving care of our sister in her last few months.
