Gregory Erwin Toney, 68, of Berrien Springs, MI, passed away on Wednesday-March 2, 2022. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heritage Chapel – 8747 US 31, Berrien Springs, MI.
Greg was born on February 6, 1954 in Benton Harbor, MI to the late Warren and Ruth (Zandarski) Toney.
Greg is survived by his children – Jakeb Toney, Jesse Toney, Brandy Mock and Coda Ambrose; grandchildren – Cole, Eli, Noah, Milly, Track and Tessa; brothers – Warren “Sonny”, Larry, and George (twin); sisters – Laureen and Lauretta; and the mother of his children – Candy Ambrose. He is preceded in death by a daughter – LaShonda and a sister – Pat. Greg was a loving father and grandfather and will be greatly missed. Greg loved to raise a garden, deer hunt, fish, play cornhole, mushroom hunt, play cards (euchre) and attend grandchildren’s sporting events.
A Celebration of Life Service will take place on Monday – March 7, 1:00pm, at the Heritage Chapel in Berrien Springs. Burial will follow at Ruggles Cemetery in Baroda, MI. Visitation with the family is on Sunday – March 6, from 2:00-4:00pm at the funeral home. Friends wishing to leave the family a message of condolence may do so at www.heritage-chapel.com
