George Frederik “Jeff” Ranney Jr., 79, passed away on December 28, 2021. Born on November 2, 1942 in Greenville Michigan to George Frederick Ranney Sr. and Mollie Jane Ranney.
Jeff is survived by his sister Nancy G. Mulick, sister-in- law Ann Ranney Beach , nieces and nephews; Edward A Mulick, Carrie Kovach, Stephanie Mulick, Matt Ranney and Mark Ranney.
Preceded in death by parents, George Sr. and Mollie Ranney, baby sister Patricia, and brothers; Thomas Farr Ranney and Robert Allen Ranney.
Jeff spent his childhood in Belding on the Ranney family farm. He graduated from Western Military Academy in Alton IL. Jeff served in the Army and enjoyed his time spent in Italy the most. Jeff moved throughout the country, living in Florida, California and finally Arkansas. He loved playing pickle ball and helping fix things. Jeff was a gentle soul, who was caring of others and never focused on having money or “stuff” but rather kindness and friends.
