We come together as a family to celebrate the life of Cathy “Caty” Briley, 63, of Benton Harbor, MI who passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022 at Spectrum Health Lakeland in St. Joseph surrounded by her family.
A Private Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel and Cremation Service with pastor Ron Hayes officiating. Cathy was born December 27, 1958 in Paola, Kansas to Robert & Peggy (Cates) Mazigian Sr. She graduated from Benton Harbor High School in 1978. On July 15, 2006 she married the love of her life Richard Briley in Sodus, MI. Cathy was a loyal and dedicated employee at Henry’s Hamburgers for over 43 years. Cathy loved spending time with her family especially her nieces and nephews who affectionally called her Aunt Caty. She also enjoyed cooking, camping and the outdoors.
Cathy is survived by her husband Richard Briley; father Robert Mazigian Sr.; brothers Robert (Sue) Mazigian Jr., Johnny (Becky) Mazigian, Ronald (Loretta) Mazigian, Roger (Shelley) Mazigian and Michael (Lori Jo) Mazigian; and numerous nieces and nephews. Cathy was preceded in death by her mother Peggy.
The family would like to extended their gratitude to the nurses, doctors and the entire staff at Spectrum Lakeland Hospital CCU for the compassionate care she received.
